Jackie Dooley, Program Officer, has been elected Vice-President/President Elect for 2011/12 of the American Society of Archivists. This is really a wonderful tribute to Jackie’s contribution over many years. Most recently, Jackie has published results of a major survey of special collections and archives, Taking Our Pulse: The OCLC Research Survey of Special Collections and Archives [pdf].
Lynn Silipigni Connaway, Senior Research Scientist, has been elected ALA Library Research Round Table Vice-chair/Chair-elect. Her term begins after ALA Annual. Lynn is the co-author of Basic research methods for librarians and leads our user behavior studies.
