Samuel Pepys is blogging

Lorcan Dempsey

In a delightful conceit, Phil Gyford presents Samuel Pepys diary in the form of a blog.

This site is a presentation of the diaries of Samuel Pepys, the renowned 17th century diarist who lived in London, England (read more about him). A new entry written by Pepys will be published each day; 1 January 1660 was published on 1 January 2003. [Pepys’ Diary: About this site]

I learned about this initiative from a presentation about the NITLE Semantic Engine at the recent CNI Task Force meeting by Maciej Cegłowski.
